CEREC® Single-Visit Crowns

Whether your teeth have decay, stains, cracks, fractures, or past root canal therapy, a crown from our office will provide you with a lasting solution in just a single visit. Created to be esthetically-pleasing, crowns can correct:

  • Teeth with significant decay
  • Uneven, broken, or cracked teeth
  • Teeth that have had root canal therapy
  • Stained or crooked teeth

In many offices, creating and placing a dental crown can require multiple appointments over the course of several weeks. At Albee Family Dental, however, we have the ability to design, create, and place your custom porcelain crown in just one visit using CEREC® technology. CEREC® crowns are durable, strong, and esthetically-pleasing, adding a natural beauty to your smile. Single-visit crowns are milled right here in our office for your convenience. Once in place, your CEREC® crown will restore the function and beauty of your smile.

Tooth Colored Fillings

A composite filling from Albee Family Dental will match your tooth’s exact color, providing you with a durable, lasting, and mercury free oral health solution. Tooth-colored composite fillings are leaps and bounds ahead of traditional silver fillings. Dr. Albee can place the filling in just one appointment, during which she will:

  • Remove decay and damage
  • Clean the tooth
  • Fill the tooth with the composite resin material
  • Shape and polish the filling to match the contours of the tooth

Composite fillings are placed to repair minor flaws in the teeth, including cracks, decay, and fractures.  At Albee Family Dental we match the color of the composite filling to the color of your existing tooth for the most esthetically-pleasing results possible.

Tooth Replacement Options

Dental Implants

Dental implants are used to replace one or more missing teeth. At Albee Family Dental in Rochester, Dr Albee will quarterback your dental implant treatment and work with an oral surgeon who will surgically place the dental implant into the jawbone. After a period of healing, you will return to our office for the attachment of the dental implant restoration (the visible portion of the implant). Depending on your needs, this restoration could be:

  • A bridge
  • A complete or partial denture anchor to secure the fit
  • A crown

Dental implants are an investment in your oral health and your smile.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

Dentures and partial dentures are removable appliances designed for those who are missing all or most of their natural teeth, respectively. Dr. Albee may recommend a denture or partial to:

  • Replace complete loss of teeth (complete dentures)
  • Replace partial tooth loss (partials)
  • Enhance your facial profile
  • Restore your ability to speak, chew, and eat with ease

For the most effective and secure restoration, dentures can be attached to dental implants that have been surgically placed into the jawbone. Once your dentures are in place, they will give you something to smile about again!

Porcelain Fixed Bridges

Missing teeth can be replaced by many means. One tooth replacement option we provide at Albee Family Dental is the porcelain fixed bridge. Porcelain bridges are non-removable appliances that use the two adjacent teeth to anchor a “pontic” or artificial tooth.

This pontic will look and feel like a natural tooth. Once in place, a fixed porcelain bridge can:

  • Prevent the loss of facial volume
  • Replace a removable partial denture
  • Prevent other teeth from shifting in the mouth
  • Restore your ability to chew, speak, and digest normally
  • Enhance the beauty and function of your smile

We can create and place your custom, porcelain bridge with 2 visits to our office. There is no need to live with missing teeth thanks to modern dentistry and our convenient payment options.
